For example, if you are planning to install your ceiling fan in your patio or a large balcony, then the 60″ ceiling fan should also be approved for outdoor use. Outdoor ceiling fans are made of more durable materials since they are designed to withstand moisture and other weather elements.

You should also ask yourself if you want ceiling fans with lights. If you do, you shouldn’t have a problem finding these, since most ceiling fans are light adaptable or even come with a light kit.

Other factors to consider include the number of blades, the mounting options and of course, the design, since you should get a ceiling fan with the right finishing that matches or enhances the style of the room.
